Freshly whipped malted mousse and caramel marshmallow crème are swirled together between three layers of decadent chocolate cake. This out-of-this-world dessert is beautifully decorated with dark chocolate curls and caramel and chocolate sauces on top.
The malted mousse and caramel marshmallow creme swirled between those three chocolate layers is dangerously good — I cut one slice and ended up eating two. Even the dark chocolate decor on top tasted fresh, not waxy like the stuff on supermarket cakes.
Ordered this for my dad's birthday and the chocolate cake layers stayed moist even after two days in the fridge. The caramel marshmallow crème is the best part, though it's definitely rich enough that a small slice goes a long way.
