Pre-tagliata in 14 fette.

The edible sugar cookie dough layers are a brilliant touch—chewy and sweet against the light cake. The purple icing adds a nice richness too. Perfect for a party treat.

The pink and blue cotton candy swirl looked even better in person than in the photos, and the purple icing layers were generous without being sickly. My kids fought over the cookie dough layer, which was the surprise hit.

The edible sugar cookie dough layer between the purple icing was the surprise hit at my daughter's party — chewy and sweet without being cloying. Even the adults who usually skip cake went back for seconds.
